I am so excited about "Children of War Conference 2009". Are you all like me tired of the enemy coming against our young people, coming against them in their homes, schools, and yes, even in their churches. It's time for us to take our youth back to the place where their relationship started; which is the alter. Yes, this is how we can gain our young people's heart back to Christ and defeat the true enemy which is Satan himself.

Our children are not the enemy, they will only do or act out what they see on television, hear in their music, or allow peer pressure to influence them. Youth For Truth foundation has been built and strengthen as a positive way for our youth to utilize their God given talent for His glory. If you talk to any of the members of YFT they will tell you that our strengths and victories rely in the fact that we make a difference in each others lives and in the lives of people we minister to and encourage. We will tell you that each one of us struggle with the same problems and issues that others our age go through. The difference is that we depend on God to guide us and we use our talents not just singing but also witnessing to others about the love of Christ.

Youth For Truth will conducting our 10 year anniversary celebration bringing back all members from 1999 through 2009 with a Reunion Concert held at Miller Park at 5PM. Come out and help us celebrate this great event. Our concert theme "Each One Still Reaching One" Bring your lawn chair. Food vendors will be on hand and there will be alot on hand for the youth.

Youth For Truth Street Ministries is a ministry consisting of a group of young people from different churches and denominations, uniting together to win souls for Christ.

God Placed into the spirit of Brother Kenneth Braxton the vision to create this ministry. Along with the talented direction of Gordon Harris, Youth For Truth was formed originally from Rose Chapel Baptist Church, Scott Zion Baptist Church and Prayer of faith Temple, COGIC.

On the last Saturday in December of 1998 an experimental workshop was held and three months later on March 7, 1999, Youth For Truth Street Ministries became a reality.

Since their first performance in April of 1999, Youth For Truth has consistently maintained their motto: Each One Reach One by performing numerous concerts, hosting street revivals and launching many fund raising activities to support the ministry.

many exciting things have taken place within the last year, including the release of the second CD with the making of the third CD in progress. Many of the songs are original music written by the founder of the ministry. With the help of the local radio stations and the support from the community, sales are doing well. With the proceeds, the ministry has purchased a van to provide transportation to youth that otherwise would not be able to participate.
